A Holistic Path to Healing — Informed by Life, Rooted in Wisdom

I’m Lorrie, a licensed psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience in helping people come home to themselves. My approach blends modern clinical insight with ancient wisdom, integrating mind, body, and spirit into the healing journey.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent decades teaching yoga, mindfulness, and Vedic philosophy. These practices still guide my work today. Whether I’m offering a grounding breath practice or gently exploring core wounds from childhood, my goal is the same: to help you reconnect with your inner steadiness, clarity, and compassion.

My clients describe me as deeply intuitive, grounding, and real. I’m not here to “fix” you. I’m here to walk beside you as you learn to trust yourself again.

My Approach

My work is grounded in the belief that healing is not about “fixing” what’s broken, it’s about remembering what’s already whole. I hold a gentle space for exploration, honoring your wisdom while offering tools that help calm the nervous system, shift unhelpful patterns, and support deeper connection to yourself and others.

I integrate evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and inner child work with mindfulness, breath awareness, and Vedic wisdom traditions. Whether we’re meeting for therapy or coaching, the process is collaborative, always tailored to your pace, your values, and your goals.

Most of all, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported. When we work together, you’re not alone. You’re walking a path of reconnection, with guidance, compassion, and care.

Who I Work With

I work with thoughtful, sensitive, resilient people who are often the ones others turn to, yet deep down, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or emotionally exhausted. Some are navigating high-pressure careers or caregiving roles. Others are healing from trauma, burnout, or relationship patterns that no longer serve them.

You might be here because you’ve tried to push through for too long. You’ve done the self-help books, the journaling, maybe even therapy in the past, but something still feels stuck or unclear.

Whether you’re here for therapy, coaching, or a space to simply breathe and reflect, I’m here to meet you where you are. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to begin.

A Little More Personally

I’ve lived many chapters, some joyful, some deeply painful, all of them transformative.

I became a mother at 17. I’ve known the weight of responsibility, the ache of heartbreak, and the quiet power of starting over again and again. I’ve walked through abusive relationships, long periods of self-doubt, and seasons of profound change. But I’ve also witnessed the beauty of healing, the magic of presence, and the wisdom that comes from truly listening to ourselves, to life, to something greater.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent decades immersed in yoga, mindfulness, and Vedic study. These ancient teachings continue to anchor my life and shape my work, reminding me that we are not broken, but becoming. That healing is not a destination, but a return.

I share this not to center myself, but to say: if you’re struggling, doubting, searching, I understand. And I hold deep respect for your path.
